Kate Fearnley was born 5th August 1976.

From an early age Kate's interest in creativity was shining through which continued throughout her education and she graduated with a BA(Hons) fashion degree from Northumbria University in 1999. She then went on to gain industrial experience for 3 years until the opportunity arose for her to start her own design and manufacturing business in January 2002.

Kate's talent for using unusual fabrics to compliment her designs has been the key to her success in the unpredictable world of the British manufacturing business. Her designs have already attracted the attention of celebrities, such as Coleen McLoughlin, Jennifer Ellison and Nicki Sanderson as well as the cast of Hollyoaks and most recently styling and stocking in ITV2 show WAGS BOUTIQUE. The KATE FEARNLEY range is already available in a variety of shops across the country.

Award winning women’s wear designer Kate Fearnley opened her first female boutique on Middlesbrough’s Linthorpe Road in August 2005 and the business has continued to grow.

In January 2005 she met up with two talented graphic artsists Lee Rushworth and David Hoogland who became the inspiration and driving force behind katefearnleyboutique.co.uk
